This app, available for free 24/7, is continuously updated with the latest storm and forecast information specifically for the Orlando and Central Florida areas. Additionally, users can watch live coverage of Eyewitness News and the WFTV meteorologists in Severe Weather Center 9 directly on their mobile devices.
With the app's built-in interactive radar, users can zoom in on their neighborhoods, including Brevard, Flagler, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, Sumter, and Volusia counties. They can also zoom out to check the radar anywhere in the country. Furthermore, location-based storm alerts will provide users with the most recent severe weather warnings.
The WFTV Weather App is designed to cater specifically to WFTV viewers and News 96.5 listeners, ensuring comprehensive weather coverage for Central Florida.

- A new radar feature that matches the radar found on other digital platforms and includes future radar to provide likely storm paths and outlooks. This radar has the highest resolution available at 250 meters.
